3rd annual East Texas All-Star Showcase Sept. 7 at Liberty Hall | Arts & Culture
From The City of Tyler:
The 3rd Annual East Texas All Star Showcase will return to East Erwin Street in Downtown Tyler on Saturday, Sept. 7 from 5 p.m.-1 a.m.
The All Star Showcase is designed to spotlight the growing music and art scene in East Texas in a festive atmosphere. Added to this year’s event will be an art auction benefitting the City of Tyler’s Liberty Hall.
The Showcase will once again feature music acts with strong East Texas roots. This year’s headlining act will be the national touring artist, Uncle Lucius, along with many other performers including Greyhounds, The Bigsbys, Stefan & the C-Otters, Lucas Young & the Wilderness, Man No Sober, Channel 8 and this year’s winner of Liberty Hall’s battle of the bands, Blacktop Mojo.
The Showcase will also feature an art exhibit with more than 20 local artists and sculptors. The artists will have their works on display and for purchase. The exhibit will also include a number of “live art” demonstrations.
“This is a great event that we look forward to each year,” said Anne Payne, Liberty Hall manager. “Trent Spradlin does a great job of producing an awesome show and everyone is sure to have a fun time!”
