'Clubhouse' child molester receives life sentence | News
TYLER, TX (KLTV)- Thomas Harold-George Brookbank has been sentenced for sexual assault of a child.
Brookbank received a life sentence for aggravated sexual assault of a child, a first-degree felony. Brookbank entered a guilty plea before presiding judge Jack Skeen, Jr.
In July of 2012, a nine-year-old girl told her mother that she and several friends had been sexually assaulted by a man named "Tom."
Upon investigation, police found that Thomas Brookbank, 21, had made a clubhouse area in the bushes behind the mobile home park where the children lived. Brookbank told authorities he assaulted at least five different children in wooded area near a mobile home park on Shiloh Road in Tyler.
